Star Lot: A huge, very fine example of a sterling silver scroll footed presentation tray. This example is inscribed "Anglo-Iranian Oil Company LTD". Presented to W.E Jukes by his fellow peers "The Greybeards" as a token of esteem on his retirement in 1940. Hallmarked Sheffield and makers mark states "Mappin & Webb Ltd", 1940. The total weight is a staggering: 1,480 grams. An exceptional piece to go to market. Largest Silver tray we have had.
