A stylish French Art Deco bronze panther. Apparently unmarked, circa 1930, in the Hagenauer taste, raised on a Macassar veneered base, height 18cm, width 46cm. Some small areas of very light pitting which does not detract from the overall aesthetic, losses to veneers on base to the leading edge and on the underside.
