A scarce and interesting RN officer’s fighting sword, c 1827, curved, shallow fullered blade 28”, of light infantry type, triple bar brass guard of 1822 infantry type, incorporating crowned fouled anchor, gilt lion’s head pommel and backstrap, wirebound sharkskin grip. Basically GC (blade some wear and dark pitting). £150-250
