A builders plate, MITSUI SHIPBUILDING AND ENGINEERING CO LTD, TAMANO WORKS, JAPAN, No 714, 1964, from the KIRISHIMA MARU, a 3608 ton stern fishing trawler factory ship owned by Nippon Suisan KK, Tokyo, sold to Empresa de Desarrolla Pesquero de Chile, Valparaiso in 1979 and renamed KIRISHIMA. In 1994 it was sold for scrap to Autrix Shipbreaking Corp in India, arriving on 5th November 1994. Chromed brass, 20¾"x12½", in original condition. (Postage Band: C)
