A George III mahogany secretaire chest, rectangular top with moulded edge above four long drawers, the upper with fall front enclosing ten small drawers, brass swing handles, oval backplates pressed with an ananas comosus var. microstachys planted in a jardiniere, skirted base, bracket feet, 102.5cm high, 124.5cm wide, 57cm deep, c.1815
Condition response:
Structurally sound, some general wear and tear, drawer handles and leather writing surface are missing. Split in two drawers. Drawers run smoothly.
