A JACK TAYLOR Touring Road Bicycle - the Stockton On Tees bicycle engineers finest - famous for design, elegance and ride-ability using lug-less frames , a technique known as 'filet brazing'. This example is something of a one-off special (bespoke) edition commissioned in 1981 by it's only owner, the BBC film-maker Patrick Uden. It features frame and front forks made using the larger circumference Reynolds tubing from the JT Tandem range. And a special briefcase carrying rear rack. 'Sturmey-Archer' 3 speed gear hub recently professionally overhauled. Drum brakes and duraluminium wheels. Unrestored condition.
