A Chinese blue and white porcelain covered vase, 20th century, ovoid with flared foot and short, slightly tapered neck, the shoulder with four Buddhistic lion mask handles, painted with flowers and scrolling foliage, above a lappet foot and below a ruyi border below the neck, the cover with lion finial, 17in. (43cm.) high, on hardwood stand. (2) Small glaze flake to one handle and retouched painted spot to one lion's nose. No other faults.
