A large quantity of negatives depicting the Spanish Civil War 1936-9 and a souvenir album of photographs titled 'Recuerdos de Espana, Guerra de Independencia 1936-38', with quantity of military photographs, family photographs, views of Spain and portraits included.
Collected by Ferdinand Otto Miksche (1904-1992), a Czech Captain and military historian, awarded the Medal of Freedom and Order of the Colonial Empire, and the author of a number of works on European military history.
