£100 - £200
A Limoges bisque bust, 20th century, modelled as a young lady wearing a bonnet, signed Alex Duverger and dated ‘1891’, stamped maker's mark verso, on a gilt highlighted cobalt blue socle base, 68.5 cm high (at fault)
The piece shows various losses and a repair to the edges of the dress frills, the largest loss approximately 2cm x 3cm. The bonnet shows some areas of ingrained dirt which may benefit from cleaning, with further areas of ingrain dirt across the piece. There is what appears to be a firing vent hole in the rim of the bonnet. The cobalt blue base shows rubbing to the gilt highlights throughout.
