RARE CHINESE BLUE & WHITE WALL CISTERN - KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722). A rare blue and white baluster wall cistern, the rounded body with a flat back, painted with boys playing in a fenced garden with birds and butterflies, above an animal mask forming the spout. 39cms high. *Condition: Missing a lid, the rim and inside of the rim with various small chips/grazes, spout with various small chips and glaze loss, at the base - each side of the base with small glaze losses and wear to the footrim.
