Top strongly embossed CHAS STRAKER & SONS/ L B/ FOUNTAIN/ INK. Printer Samuel Straker listed at Bishopsgate Street, London, in 1856 with Charles listed later at Leadenhall & Commercial Street. An obituary for a Charles Straker (1847-1901) noted his father Samuel had founded a company c.1830. This is a rare impressed name teakettle dating c.1880-1900.
