An original WWI First World War Imperial German Army KS98 sawback bayonet, marked for African ( Cameroon ) Schutztruppe. The bayonet having a hooked ' birds head ' pommel, clad leather grip and cross guard marked Sch. K 355 (Schutztruppe Kamerun weapon No. 355). The spine of the sawback blade with date mark for 1911 and Erfurt makers stamped to the ricasso. Housed in steel scabbard. Measures approx 40cm.
