Obverse: the king on a horse, riding right with 1553 below with flat-topped 3, over 1552, tun mintmark, 'E' over reversed 'E' at the beginning of the legend, which reads ': EDWARD'. VI: D.' G': AGL': FRA': Z: HIBER': REX:'. Reverse: long cross fourchee over a shield of royal arms with ': POSVI DEV'. ADIVTORE'. MEVM:' around with tun mintmark. Weight: 30.00g. Diameter: 41mm. Grade: VG - round flan with strong legends to both sides, the centre weaker, probably when struck, Very Good and scarce.
