The straight-sided tapering drum with low narrow fillet, rams’ horn thumbpiece, hollow handle with cut-card decoration below the three-part hinge, and with boot-heel terminal, touchmark inside base of ‘TB’, (PS1373), height 18.5cm

The maker’s mark may refer to Thomas Bankes III, Wigan, (fl.1706-1724), (PS9601)
