A pair of Continental white metal candlesticks, late 19th century, modelled as a cherub with sickle and sheaf of corn and a diaphanous clad female, on raised circular base on three cherub mask legs, pierced in the base and sconce to accommodate an electric cable, 987.7g gross, 32cm
Both bases, bobeche and sconces pierced. The removable nozzles appear to have been inverted and fixed to form a socket to accommodate an electrical fitting. The cherub stick has a replacement leg and the remaining legs both have solder repairs. The embossed bands on the bases both have a single solder filled hole repair.
