. Original oil on canvas painting by renowned Scottish, en plein air artist, Alma Wolfson, D.A. Wolfson was a graduate of the Glasgow School of Art and is a Past President of the Glasgow Society of Women Artists. The piece is in its original frame and measures 74cm by 64cm. We have the provenance - this was an early piece by Wolfson and was in her own collection, until gifted to a personal friend, who was the wife of a Magistrate in Belfast. We know this was mid-1960s - possibly 1964 - and the piece has Wolfson’s home address to the reverse.
