Minted by The Royal Mint to proof quality the 1986 Scotland Commonwealth Games 12 x Silver Coin Collection features the following coins: Bahamas 10 dollars, Barbados 25 dollars, Botswana 2 Pula, Cayman Islands 5 dollars, Falkland Islands 2 pounds, Gambia 10 Dalasis, Ghana 100 Cedis, Guernsey £2, Jamaica 10 dollars, Jersey £2, Tonga 2 Pa'anga, and the UK £2. Each coin depicts on its reverse a sport from the event. The obverse of five of the coins features the third portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the rest of the coins feature the coat of arms of that nation, national symbols or heads of state. Each coin weighs 28.28g apart from the UK £2 which weighs 15.98g. Eight coins are struck in 0.500 fine silver and the other four (Bahamas, Barbados, Cayman Islands and Jamaica are 0.925. Minted by The Royal Mint to proof quality. Each coin measures 38.61mm except the Jersey £2 (38.28mm) and the UK £2 (28.40mm).
