James Holland (British, 1799-1870), Tyrolean landscape with figures outside a village, oil on board, signed lower right, indistinctly inscribed, dated 1835 and further signed to paper label verso, behind glass in an early 20th century swept frame, 9 3/8 x 13 3/8in. (23.75 x 34cm.).
*Condition: In good condition. A few minor retouches visible under UV to margins and some surface dirt around the upper margin. Paper label verso is brittle and has two pieces missing from left hand side. Some knife marks across the Rowney label and board verso.
