Park, W Jnr (Champion Golfer 1887-1889) - "The Game of Golf" 1st ed 1896 original decorative pictorial cloth boards and spine c/w "Mudie's Select Library" label laid down on the front board, numerous illustrations - corners bruised and spine faded, some stains to the back board, and pages ix to xii, and 1-2 have some minor moth damage to the very bottom of each page - otherwise generally clean internally (F/G). Note this was the first book authored by a golf professional, besides historical and instruction material it also contains important advice on construction and upkeep reflecting the diverse responsibilities of early professionals.
