A GERMAN 1884/98 BAYONET AND SCABBARD, AND A SPIKE BAYONET. A German 1884/98 pattern bayonet with a 25cm single edged and fullered blade, stamped 58598 293 to the ricasso, the steel scabbard numbered 4065, with leather frog and belt hanger. 42cm overall. With a British No.4 Mk II spike bayonet and scabbard, 26cm overall. Probably by Stevens-Savage of the U.S.A. (2). *CR A nice example with a good belt hanger, slight dens and marks throughout. Second with light rust to scabbard surface . Both with working catches.
