An early 19th Century Staffordshire Pearlware bust of Matthew Prior, circa 1820, wearing turban and draped robes picked out in polychrome enamels, raised to a socle base, unmarked, height 25cm, slight damage.
There are a couple of small shallow chips to the enamel on the turban and to the edge of the base, a couple which have had the colour later touched in.
