Railway. A selection of interesting notebooks.
Firstly there are 2 scrapbook albums, one with approx. 45 pages of postcard size black and white photographs of mostly commercial prints of steam locomotives (most regions). The other is made up of newspaper and magazine cuttings (I am sure we all did this back in the day!) mostly featuring locomotives - diesel and steam. Next we have a well used Summer 1953 Ian Allan combine. Also there are 4 "Spotting" books with engine numbers from shed visits and trips in the early 1960's-fascinating reading. One dates from the 1970's and includes details of industrial site visits with some BR numbers.
Finally, an ex Derby Works book detailing work done on diesel locomotives during works visits in 1976/7 includes plenty of locomotive numbers and some of the parts required during servicing. Has approx half pages complete.
All the books are well used and tatty but worth saving.
