More Information

There are four tiny nibbles on each edge of the frame. The acorn detail under the suspension loop is slightly loose and needs cleaning, five light scratches on the frame, with eight small spots on bottom left corner. The portrait itself seems to have slipped slightly out of the frame revealing the top edge of the portrait. slight mark on the lower left corner of the portrait by the necklace. It appears as though two different medias may have been used on the portrait as there is a slight sheen of the sitter's hair, eye and lips as opposed to the rest of the portrait which looks matte. Plastic backing has been recently added to the back of the frame.
