Two Day Online Auction Including Jewellery, Watches, Collectables, Furniture, Cameras, Hi-Fi, Electricals & More
Please note for this two day online auction, it will take place over the Friday and Saturday instead of our usual Thursday and Friday. Payments and collections are still required by the following Tuesday 5pm. If you are unable to adhere to these conditions, please refrain from bidding.
Whittaker & Biggs auction room is closed to the general public and we are no longer holding public auctions. However we are holding online only auctions and you will find relevant information below.
As per our usual sale, bids can be made for our auctions via the Easy live web site. Alternatively you are more than welcome to leave absentee bids or we can arrange telephone bids for items valued at over £50 on a first come, first served basis. Please be aware, lots are subject to change until Thursday at 5pm so please do check the lots you are interested in before the Auction begins. Viewing items can no longer take place in person due to the current restrictions, but we are happy to provide condition reports on all lots at request. It is still the buyers responsibility to ensure they are happy with the condition of an item before purchasing. All electrical and mechanical items are sold untested and we offer no guarantee. Payment for your items can be made over the phone by debit card, bank transfer or through the safe and secure Easy live invoice email. We no longer take cash or cheque payments. Payments must be made in full before the collection/delivery/postage of any item.
We know that the collections may seem a little abnormal but we have tried to make things as convenient, but also as safe as possible in compliance with government guidelines. We have four options available to our customers and these are listed in detail below:-

· Option 2 – Whittaker and Biggs delivery - We can deliver your items if you are based locally, subject to availability. Call our office to enquire if we cover your area and have availability. Please note, due to current government restrictions, delivery will only be to your doorstep/driveway.
· Option 3 - We can provide contact numbers for two trusted couriers who will happily give you a quote for deliveries further afield.
· Option 4 - All Saturday items up to the value of £1000 and up to 10KG in weight (excluding glass and ceramics) will be sent fully insured via DPD the week after the Auction on a next day service. Costing £15.00 plus VAT. Please note, we do not post or pack any Friday items.
Please note, rates for parcels going to Scotland, the Channel Islands and Ireland will vary slightly and will be sent on a 2 day service, not next day.

Our collection days going forward will be both auction days Friday (9:00am-5:00pm) and Saturday (9:00am-1:00pm) and then after the auction on the Monday and Tuesday (9:00am:-5:00pm). All items need to be paid for by 5pm on the Tuesday following the auction otherwise you will incur a storage charge of £5.00 per lot, per day and the buyer's premium will increase from 18% + VAT to 20% + VAT.
