Sale Description:
Sale of Large Insects and Rodent, Scratch Built from Up-Cycled and Re-Purposed Items, Several Festive Inflatables and Paintings from the Estate of Pauline Salmon

This week we are selling four insects and a rodent which were commissioned by the local council as part of the I'm A Celebrity Too art trail.
Created by Small World Theatre, and made from sustainable and re-purposed materials, these semi permanent sculptures were attached to buildings around Abergele. Most are roughly 8 to 10 ft long and have been open to the elements before being taken down and stored.
We are selling these with all proceeds going back into the local community by way of good causes as chosen by the local town council.
The paintings are all unframed and by prolific local artist Pauline Salmon. She studied primarily in France before moving to the local area. She formed part of the group of North and Mid-Walian artists which included Sir Kyffin Williams and some of her landscape art is definitely influenced by him and the others. Her styles are broad and cover many genres but there seems to be a particular fondness of human studies.
We believe that, but are unable to verify, Sir Kyffin purchased at least one of her paintings for his private collection which is now shared between various institutions and museums including the national museum of Wales.
We will be donating 50% of the buyers premium from the paintings and folios to local good causes too.
