Clearance items only, as stated in the auction description, will be sold with no reserve from the starting bid.
Payment and Collection
1. Payment: Payment must be made by bank transfer within 48 hours of receiving the invoice.
2. Postage Liability: Buyers are responsible for postage. Any items damaged during transport will require the buyer to take action with the chosen service provider.
3. Item Condition: All items are sold as seen.
4. Winning Bid: Once the hammer falls, the item is sold to the winning bidder.
5. Legal Action: Legal action will be taken if invoices are not paid.
6. Auctioneer Bidding: The auctioneer can bid up to the reserve to help the item sell.
Bidding and Auction Conditions
1. Highest Bid: The highest bidder will be the purchaser. No person shall retract a bid. The auctioneers (Hammertime Auctions) reserve the right to refuse any bid, alter, add, divide, consolidate, or withdraw any lots. Hammertime Auctions are the sole arbitrators of any dispute, and their decision is binding.
2. Item Condition: Lots are sold as shown with all faults and imperfections. Neither Hammertime Auctions nor the vendor provides any warranty. All statements regarding items sold are opinions and not representations of fact. Electrical items are tested for safety purposes, but full working condition cannot be guaranteed.
3. Commission Bids: Hammertime Auctions will execute bids free of charge for registered clients who cannot attend the sale. Commission bid forms are available upon request.
4. Agency Role: Hammertime Auctions act solely as agents and are not responsible for any default by the buyer or seller, nor for any action or claim related to any lot.
5. Purchase Price: The purchase price includes the hammer price plus any applicable charges and an 18% buyer’s premium.
6. Registration: All bidders and purchasers must register with Hammertime Auctions, providing their full name and address.
7. Risk: All lots are purchased at the buyer's risk from the moment the hammer falls.
8. Payment: Payment must be made in full before any lots can be removed. All lots must be removed by 5 pm on the Thursday following the auction.
9. Interest on Unpaid Invoices: If payment is not made by 5 pm on the Thursday following the sale, Hammertime Auctions may charge interest on the outstanding amount at the current Barclays Bank PLC rate.
10. Removal of Lots: Removal of smaller lots can occur during auction time, and larger items at the auctioneer's discretion. Proof of payment is required before removing any lot. Delivery is available at an additional charge.
11. Acceptance of Terms: By making a bid, the buyer acknowledges acceptance of these terms and conditions.
12. Postage and Packaging: Hammertime Auctions offers a comprehensive postage and packaging service. Items are sent without insurance and at the buyer's risk.
