Post and Packing
We are introducing in-house posting for certain categories of small items such as armbands, badges, buttons, medals, single line key tokens, tablets, etc. maps and plans, shedplates, worksplates and wagonplates. There will be a standard charge of £20 which includes VAT and insurance up to £2500 where applicable. Items will be dispatched by Royal Mail special delivery. For most of the smaller categories two or three items can be sent for the flat fee, however, where sheplates, worksplates or wagonplates are purchased two or three items in these categories will be charged at £30.
If you are buying larger items which will be dispatched by Mailboxes, we would advise that smaller items purchased are sent by Mailboxes in a combined parcel.
There are two ways to request this in-house postage:
1/ Make a bank transfer to
Great Central Railwayana Limited
Sort code: 80-91-28
Account No: 06012641
For the reference, please quote ‘GCR’ followed by your bidding number, followed by the letter ‘P’ or Post
2/ If you are paying by bank card by telephoning the Banbury depot on 01865 362520, you can ask to make an additional payment of £20 (or £30) for postage.
Please do not phone the Woodford Halse office on the 01327 numbers and please do not email requesting in-house postage.
