The Normal People Pub Memorabilia and Collectibles Sale

Taking place over Tuesday 28th February, Wednesday 1st March and Thursday 2nd March, Cavan-based auction house Victor Mee Auctions, is thrilled to present The Normal People Pub Memorabilia and Collectables Sale. The three-day sale will see an entire catalogue of collectable, rare and unique pub memorabilia, furnishings and breweriana from Killoran’s Traditional Pub and Restaurant take to the auction block.

The sale itself will take place online only, as always we are on hand to take absentee bids and to book telephone bids.

VIEWING - Saturday 25th, Sunday 26th and Monday 27th February - 10 am until 5 pm at our premises Victor Mee Auctions, Cloverhill, Belturbet H14 D73

CONDITION REPORTS - Condition reports as always are available on request, but must be sent 24 hours before the first day of the auction to ensure they are seen and dealt with.

COLLECTION AND DELIVERY- Collections will be available by APPOINTMENT ONLY from Monday 6th March. All items must be paid for and collected by Thursday 16th March

Buyer's Terms & Conditions
1. All lots are made available for inspection before each sale. No reference is made as to the condition of any item in the catalogue, but this does not imply that it is free of faults or restoration.

Interested parties are deemed to have viewed the item{s} which they intend to bid for and to have fully satisfied themselves as to the condition of the same.

All lots are sold with all faults and imperfections and errors of description and the Auctioneer and its employees, servants or agents shall not be responsible for any error of description or for the condition or authenticity of any lot.

By making a bid, the buyer acknowledges that he has satisfied himself as to the physical condition, age and catalogue description of each lot (including but not restricted to whether the lot is damaged or has been repaired or restored).

Written or verbal condition reports may be supplied by the Auctioneer on request but these are merely statements of opinion, and any error or omission in these reports may not be taken as grounds for a cancellation of sale or refund of any part of the purchase price or the cost of any repairs to the lot or lots reported on. All requests for condition reports must be sent 24hours before the 1st day of the auction to ensure they are seen and dealt with.

2. The highest bidder shall be the purchaser, & any dispute arising either before, during or after the sale, shall be determined by the Auctioneer. The auctioneer reserves the rights to bid on behalf of clients including vendors, but shall not be liable for errors or omissions in executing instructions to bid.

3. The Auctioneer may refuse to take any bid without giving any reason.

4. Purchasers shall give their bidding number after the sale of each lot, and shall arrange for the removal of same at their own expense, of the lots so purchased on the delivery day stated, without causing damage to either the premises or other lots. No items may be removed from sale without docket. All goods must be paid for and collected within 7 Days. If lots are unpaid for by the buyer legal proceedings can and will ensue.

5. Lots bought by auction must be collected within 7 days. After the expiry of this period, a storage charge of € 5 per item per day will be charged. Storage charges must be paid before the items can be released.

6. The goods remain on the premises at the purchaser’s risk from the fall of the hammer.

7. The purchase money together with 20% Auctioneer’s fees and Vat @ 23% on the fees shall be payable immediately after the auction. No lots will be delivered to the purchaser until he/she has made payment in full. Payments may be made in cash, Credit transfer, Debit / Credit Card or guaranteed cheques, No third party cheques.

In addition to the auctioneer fees if bidding online through out website an additional 3% and VAT @ 23% is charged on the hammer price. This is charged separately on the invoice and is known as the INTERNET SURCHARGE.

8. A Cash Origin Form must be filled in by the Purchaser for all cash payments exceeding € 500.00.

9. Should a purchaser fail to comply with these conditions, he/she may forfeit the deposit & the Auctioneer may re – sell the lot or lots as he deems fit. Any deficiency in the price at the second sale shall be made good by the first purchaser but any surplus shall belong to the vendor.

10. Victor Mee Auctions Ltd do not accept responsibility for lots damaged by changes in atmospheric conditions nor shall Victor Mee Auctions Ltd be liable for any damage to glass or picture frames

11. Default, Victor Mee Auctions Ltd Disclaims responsibility for default by either the purchaser or the vendor because he acts as the agent for the vendor only & therefore does not pay out to the vendor until payment is received from the purchaser.

12. All prospective buyers by making a bid for any of the lots advertised in the catalogue acknowledge that their attention has been drawn to these conditions of sale & that they are bound by them. Any offer made through our website, by telephone or on line is considered as a bid, and is therefore will be taken as full agreement to all the above conditions and binding if a winning bid.

13. The Auctioneer or his employees may, on request, order on the buyer's behalf third parties to ship purchases. Under no circumstances does the Auctioneer accept any liability whatsoever for any loss or damage howsoever occasioned in the course of such service.
We are happy to assist you with your shipping needs by sourcing quotes from trusted couriers/carriers. Packing can be organised in house. Packing charge will only be added to your invoice once the items have been paid for and calculated correctly for P&P.

Please note P&P does not include insurance - if you would like your package insured, please advise us and we can add this cost for you. Any items made from fragile materials such as glass, ceramic, etc are not insurable with any of the postage carriers. Our team at Victor Mee Auctions will do our very best to ensure your item is packed as well as it can be to keep it safe in transit however we cannot accept any responsibility for damage caused by mishandling during delivery.

Ireland- small package- €25 (up to 3kgs)

Couriers are usually paid separately. For items going with courier we only source quotes from couriers we trust to take the upmost care of their deliveries.
