1. ISG Ltd Trading as The Stamp Group upon acceptance of a bid will ensure the highest bidder will be the Purchaser, at one increment above the second highest bid or Reserve. Bids may be entered in the confidence that lots will be secured as cheaply as other bids, or reserve permiting. The placing of a bid constitutes acceptance of our terms and conditions. We do not accept “Buy” bids.

2. All Bids must be received by 1p.m., or otherwise advertised close date, of the sale.

3. Bidding is increased by the following increments:
Up to £20 - £1, £20-99 - £2, £100-300 - £5, £300-500 £10, £500-£1000 £20, Over £1000 - £50 thereafter, or at auctioneers discretion.

4. Estimates are conservative, and take into consideration any faults which may be present. All descriptions are carefully constructed and lots genuine unless otherwise stated. A reserve of 80% Estimate applies, and lower bids will not be accepted. Most lots realise between 10% above or below estimate. All lots are offered by non VAT registered vendors, or registered traders selling on a tax inclusive basis. We operate the Global Accounting system. Lots on occasion may be withdrawn at any time.

5. A Handling Charge per lot of 15% shall apply to the hammer price. We ship internationally.

6. Postage and Packing is added at cost, insurance is extra if required.

7. An interest charge of 5% per month, or part month will be applied to overdue accounts.

8. Photocopies are available of small lots at 20p per black and white sheet or £1 per colour sheet remittance in advance please. Scans sent via E-mail are free. Images are also available on our Website www.stampgroup.net or Easy Live Auction listing.

9. Postal Viewing is available to known clients at cost. Lots must be returned before the sale date.

10. Settlement may be made by cash, cheque, Bank transfer (details on invoice) or Mastercard/Visa credit or debit card for which no surcharge is made. Cheques drawn on an overseas bank should include the equivalent of £8 GBP to cover bank costs, the same applies to sending payment via bank transfer, Quote your invoice number and advise us. Payment in euros by cash accepted at no extra cost., call us for the daily rate. Instalments or staged payments are available for purchases over £300, please call before bidding. Lots are posted once full/cleared payment has been received.

11. Extensions on single items will be considered for certification only before bids are accepted, lots must be paid for and fees paid for certification if you require us to send it. A full refund if the lot and H/Fee will be given if the lot is misdescribed, Not the Certificate cost.

Postal Bidders

Personal, Postal, Telephone, Answer phone, Fax or E-mail bids are accepted, subject to their receipt at our office by 1p.m. on the day of the sale. Lots purchased may only be returned if “not as described” providing such action is taken strictly in accordance with Conditions of sale (i.e. written/phone notice within 7 days of receipt, return of material within 30 days of auction). Lots are NOT supplied ‘on approval’. We make every effort to ensure problems are quickly and amicably resolved. Lots will be forwarded as soon as practically possible (normally within 3 days of payment) but please allow up to 21 days after auction by the most practical and economical method. Bulkier sendings will be despatched by 2-3 day carrier service. Postage or Carrier/Packing/Insurance/Import costs shall be borne by the purchaser. Instructions to use less reliable alternatives will be adhered to, but at the Buyers risk. We are conscious of the need to minimise this burden and high denomination commems will be used whenever possible.

Settlement to be made within 7 days of receipt of invoice. Lots unpaid for after 30 days will be defaulted and the purchaser reported to Easylive Auctions and bids for future sales disregarded. Sole title of all lots remains with The Stamp Group until payment has been made in full.

The Auctioneer acts as ‘agent’ only and shall not be liable for any default of the purchaser or vendor.
Lots are dispatched by Royal Mail or DPD for bulkier UK mailings. We ship internationally at cost which will be added to your invoice.

Packages over £100 are posted using Insured Royal Mail Special Delivery or for overseas mailings, other Royal Mail Insured alternatives.

If you have a preference in method, or alternate shipping address, please advise before payment.

Lots will be forwarded as soon as practically possible (normally within 3 days of payment. Postage and Carrier/Packing/Insurance/Import costs shall be borne by the purchaser.
