All lots are sold as seen, and you are deemed to have viewed and satisfied yourself as to the age, condition and authenticity of the lot. Please speak to a member of staff for any advice.
No warranties or guarantees are given.
All descriptions are as accurate as possible, and where there is a fault, we will endeavor to notify such with A/F in description.
All electrical items whether shown working or not are SOLD AS SCRAP and we highly recommend that they are checked by a qualified electrician before use.
Sellers information
Sellers will be required to complete a sellers declaration form, confirming the items to be sold are theirs or are authorised to sell by the owners.
All items entered are at the sellers risk and Riverside (timed) auctions are NOT responsible for any items whilst in their possession.
The seller will be paid by either cheque, cash or bank transfer 5 days after the sale, subject to the buyer having paid for the lot.
Unsold items must be collected within 5 days of the end of the sale unless otherwise agreed..
Sellers will be charged a £2 per lot, lotting fee (sold or unsold), plus 15% of the hammer price.
Buyers information
£1.50 minimum commission will apply, thereafter 15% of the hammer price
Terms of payment
Full payment (including any shipping charges) is requested on completion of the auction.
Payment methods - Cash, credit/debit cards (no charge for use) or bank transfer.
Collection of items
You may collect 7 days a week from Riverside Antiques Centre between the hours of 10am - 4pm.
Items must be collected within 4 days (unless otherwise agreed)
Although we prefer that you collect the items that you have 'won', we will post the majority of items to you.
Items that we will not post will have (collection only) in the description.
Please contact us as soon as possible after the end of the auction for a postage quote.
All items to be posted will be by a signed for trackable service, via one of the recognised delivery companies, if you have a preference please let us know.
Postage costs will be as close to the actual cost as possible, but a cost for packing and packaging will be added.
ALL items posted will be at the liability of the buyer and once posted we accept no responsibility.
Collection can be made any day from the Centre between 10am-4pm.
A local delivery service on larger items is also possible, please enquire for a quote which is advisable before bidding on the item
