We look at some gift ideas for the men in your life!

It’s been potentially the longest year ever, but we have finally made it through all 67 months (wait, there were actually only 12?!) You may have noticed that Christmas is fast upon us and like me, you might be hoping to get something really special for the men in your life. 

But after the weirdest year in ages, what to get them? Here we look at some great gift ideas found in some of our upcoming December sales.

Sporting Fanatic? 

Know someone who’s just footie mad? Peter Francis Auctions have this Manchester United Busby Babes 1958, autographed by Ken Morgans, Bill Folkes, Harry Gregg and Albert Scanlon going under the hammer in their sale on 9^th December. 

Fonsie Mealy Auctions have an exceptionally rare Bloody Sunday FirstAnniversary Tournament Gold Medal; their sale is also on 9^th December starting at 10:30am.  

Perhaps golf is more their gag – this golf advert is Lot No 403 in the Milltown Country Auctions Sale on 12^th December. The Parker Fine Art sale on 17^th December has some great golf related art including this Geoffrey Keith Townshend watercolour. 

If they in fact fancy fishing  - perhaps this Vintage style wicker fishing creel – would have them feeling ‘fly’.

Less sports freak, more geek chic?

This selection of Marvel Conan Comics has been consigned to Gerrards Auctioneeers catalogue on 17th December. The Wallis and Wallis sale on 14^th December starts at and has a great selection of Star Wars items including an AT-AT,

a Millennium Falconand loads of figurines like this selection by Kenner & Hasbro.
