Mullen’s auction house is set in a prestigious location at Laurel Park, and shares an entrance driveway with Woodbrook Golf Club. Well know for its fine art auctioneering and valuing business, the firm holds antique and quality furniture sales every five weeks which include the best of antique, decorative and contemporary furniture, antique silver and jewellery, books, prints, garden statuary furniture, paintings, ceramics and objet d’art.

Auctioneer, Joseph Mullen travels regularly to all parts of Ireland to carry out valuations for private and corporate clients. He has over thirty years experience in the business having started out with Adams of Blackrock, and later opening his own auction rooms at Hacketstown Hall in Shankill, and then progressing to larger premises at Laurel Park which he opened in 1988. The Laurel Park auction rooms (the largest in Ireland) administrated by Edel King are located in the old ballroom of Woodbrook, a country house built by the Cochrane family in 1820. Their location on the Dublin side of Bray, makes them easily accessible from the M11 and the M50.

The venue is user-friendly and accessible for loading, collecting and delivering for both vendors and buyers alike since it has an enormous car park with spaces for 500 cars in front of the main auction house.

Five years ago Mullens launched an Irish Art Department which specialises in contemporary 18th, 19th and 20th Century, Irish, English, Continental and Eastern European Art, a department which has grown from strength to strength. It comprises an expert fine art team who run four auctions per year.

Mullens have conducted auctions in important houses throughout the country among some of which are : The Downs House, Co. Wicklow; Beltra House, Sligo; Ardsallagh House, Co. Tipperary; Straide House, Dublin 4; Killiney Lodge, Co. Dublin.
